Poppies, films, and a lot of beautiful pictures: Tumblr, a source of inspiration.

(Can poppies be even more beautiful?) Hello my lovelies, you already know that the Monster of 2º Bachillerato (last year of High School in Spain) has me like his prisoner in the highest tower in the world, and as much as I let my hair falling down through the balcony, no prince called Freedom comes to rescue me, I guess it’s because I don’t have a long hair such as Rapunzel’s hair. So, being prisoner in this No-Freedom-Tower, I can’t take pictures of my outfits or my walks.  That’s why on this post I want to show you one of my biggest sources of inspiration: Tumblr. I suppose you already know it, and some of you will like it or some of you will hate it. Personally, I love it. On one hand, because of Tumblr I’ve discovered some of my favourites films, and you know that cinema make me lose my mind. On the other hand, I always find inspiring photos about fashion, series, quotes, and other pictures that simply make me smile. So, I decided to open the Archive of my Tumblr and pick up some of the last photos I’ve “reblogged” , to show you. Here we go (warning: there is maybe too much photos but I swear that I’ve tried to choose just some of my favourites)

Well, as I said before and as I always say, and as you know too well: I love cinema. When I saw the first picture with the phrase "Good movies make your life better " it was like, aw , how right it is . I think there are 39482342 unique feelings for us, one of them it’s when you finish watching a good film. The truth is that with any movie, you do not stay indifferent when you’ve just watched it, but when you see a really good movie, it seems like times stop and you don’t know how to continue with your life in the next seconds. Ok, yep, it sounds a bit exaggerated, but that happens to me all the time.

The other picture is a scene from a movie which I haven’t seen yet. Jean -Luc Godard, the director of the film, is great and is a member of the
nouvelle vague, so the film must be good. The thing is that I fall in love with that quote when I read it for the first time: "Are you in a film or in reality?" I actually don’t know what is it but that quote has something. I guess I feel very identified by the fact sometimes I almost can’t distinguish if I’m living in reality – cinema – dreams - blabla . Well, I think it is something that happens to everyone when we go into our personal cloud.

Dormir.

La otra, sencillamente me parece preciosa. Esas manos me tienen enamorada.

I guess this first picture don't inspire me but make me feel like reading what I really want. I need sleep. Sleeping without an alarm clock. Sleeping without all the stress. Sleeping and dreaming without being interrupted. Sleeping under good warm blankets and duvet necessary. Sleeping.

The other one, it's simply beautiful. Those hands make me being in love. This can sound a bit weird but I adore the scratchs or injuries: in the knuckles, in the elbow, in the knees. Those injuries which give a red tone to pale skins, are too beautiful. And the hands of that picture, make you want to put your hands over them.

Y finalmente (¡Si!

And finally, (yep! I’m going to stop making comment of every picture of Tumblr that I’m showing you, I don’t want annoying you) these two photos or better said, gifs. I don’t have so much to say about the first one, just that I loved it when I saw it because I think it’s so real and natural. And the second one reminds me to all the trips I’ve made in metro or in train, and all the cities I’ve visited. Ouch, Claire is getting nostalgic. I guess one of things I like the most in this life is the fact of looking through the window when I’m travelling on. And that's all.

03 November 2013

Muchas fotos en blanco y negro. Hola noviembre.

Hello my dear readers, the weekend is over. Well , actually tomorrow is Sunday but it doesn’t count like a free day cause it’s the day when you have to do all the homeworks and study too much and do all the things that you haven’t done the rest of the weekend. Anyway, that’s something that you already know.

I wanted to show you my Halloween costume, but I have no decent photos , and that costume requires a session . The fact is that I was Hit-Girl ( I say that it was a costume because I don’t want to reveal my real identity, you know, as a good super hero) and although I couldn’t do my Halloween night plans because my Kick-Ass who lives in Almería couldn’t come here, the night was fine. However, I got a cold, so these days have been very of blanket and many cups of tea , and more and more blankets . Anyway, I went out twice to walk a bit, one of them to eat delicious chestnuts with a friend, the first of the autumn. And the other one, I went to the cemetery to put flowers. In this last one, something amazing happened to me and I was wandering through the streets of Granada, and suddenly I found my,  ummmm ... hard to define what exactly he is , my writer , composer , author (who still lives ) favourite. I don’t know if you know him, his name is Diego Alvarez and is known by his nickname @Jazzmeplease, so right now, you should be watching his videos on Youtube , or Twitter or Facebook or whatever . Seriously, I can’t believe it actually has happened.

A bit of instaweekend: 1# My Hit-Girl costume ready to patrol the city. 2# And suddenly, Hit-Girl appeared. 3# The first autumn chestnuts in a lovely company. 4# My Friday evening was summed up in blanket, cookies, tea, Stilo magazine and, I saw the movie Hocus Pocus as a good 90’s girl. How great is this movie. 5# This is how I look when I’m watching films in my house. Nothing better like my father's sweater to stay warm at home. 6# And here is the dedication of my favorite writer. I really can’t believe I met him this morning.
